WUT Campus

A view of the mountains from campus.

These trees are all over the place here. They don't have many leaves but flowers bloom at the tips of the branches. The flowers smell great and are always falling off and blowing around. There is a tree like this by the hotel pool, so flowers are always floating on the surface of the pool's water.

The soccer field (which we can't actually use--there are too many snakes!)

Webster's campus is about 35 minutes from where I live in Hua-Hin. A bus picks us up and takes us there every day. The campus is out in the country in a very rural area. On the way to school we pass all kinds of small houses and shops where many people are working. A lot of the houses have small farms in the yard. We see a lot of chickens, goats, cows and donkeys on each of the farms.

The campus is very quiet and peaceful. There is a lot of wildlife around. The other day there was a gecko on the ceiling in my English class. When the class got boring, I just watched him crawl around for a while.

Some pictures of the view from the balcony outside one of my classes:

Thailand is very green and lush in some places, but very dry in other places. On one side of the campus there is a lot of green, but on the other side it looks like a desert.

Another picture of the balcony view.

The campus. (It's very small, only a few buildings.)
